A light surface bend / surface impression line across the card just above the deck of the vessel and a few other light surface undulations in the same area. Very light album corner marks and very light surface marking to the front. A little light marking / ageing to the reverse with some foxing marking in the correspondence area. Size approx 5.6" x 3.8". She was sold to Hamburg Amerika Line in 1899 to become the Willkommen. She served the company on the Hamburg to Helgoland service until sold in 1924 to become the Cuxhaven for other German owners. Card is by Muhlmeister & Johler of Hamburg. Very light corner and edge wear, but creases to the top right and bottom left corner tips. A very light vertical surface impression down the left side of the card with extremely light surface crinkle to the reverse only. Otherwise very light marking to the front.
