She was built in 1883 and served the company from 1897 until she sank on 30th April 1906 after striking the Les Annon Rocks with the loss of 10 lives (the card was produced to mark her sinking). She was later raised and returned to service lasting until 1949. the card was postally used in guernsey in 1906.
