1340405 | Batsford | A sepia photo postcard featuring the freighter Batsford of 1914. In 1918 she passed to Canadian Pacific under the same name. Card shows the vessel in the Culebra Cut, Panama Canal. A little light corner and edge wear. Very light album corner marks. A light surface bend in the card near the bow of the vessel bottom left. Very light marking to the front with a little very light surface silvering of the photo. Pencilled notes about the ship to the reverse, otherwise a little marking / ageing to the reverse with some stain marks near the stamp box. (VG-) | £4.49 |
