A scarce company art postcard featuring the Dronning Maud which served the company from 1925 to 1940. Sadly the card has been lightly trimmed down the right edge. Otherwise a little light corner and edge wear. Album corner marks / impressions. A very light surface bend on the left edge centre with light impression line on the reverse. A little very light surface foxing marking to the front, mainly showing very lightly in the sky area. Very light marking / ageing to the reverse with some light surface foxing spotting mainly bottom right. (G+) |

A lovely and scarce company printed art postcard featuring the Prins Olav. She was built in 1908 as the British Royal Yacht Alexandra. She was sold to Det Nordenfjeldske in 1925 and served the company until she was bombed in 1940. Lovely art is by Harry Hudson Rodmell. Sadly the card has been lightly trimmed down the right edge. Otherwise a little light corner and edge wear with a tiny dink to the top left corner tip. Album corner marks / impressions. A little extremely light surface foxing marking to the front, mainly showing extremely lightly in the sky area.
