Huntsgreen (HMT) 1304001 Huntsgreen (HMT) British Government A sepia toned photo postcard featuring the troopship HMT Huntsgreen. She was built in 1908 as the Derfflinger for Norddeutscher Lloyd. In 1915 she was handed to the British Government for use as a troopship and became the Huntsgreen. She was sold back to Norddeutscher Lloyd in 1923. Bergen Line A colour photo postcard by Salmon, featuring a Bergen Line / Fred Olsen Line ship alongside the Norwegian Quay at North Shields on the River Tyne. The ship is possibly the Jupiter or Venus who run for Bergen Line in the summer seasons to Newcastle and in the winder did cruises for Fred Olsen as the Black Watch and Black Prince in the late 1960's.
